The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.
The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community.
The NDIS gives people with disability more choice and control over how, when and where supports are provided.
The following Down Syndrome SA program are eligible for NDIS funding:
- Early Intervention
- Life Education and Work Skills
- Transition to preschool and school
- Transition to work
- Leisure and recreational activities
- Parent education
- Behavioural support
- Right to Know
